Company Profile

Dolphin Stairlifts was established in the nineteen eighties. The company was started by the current Managing Director - Rob Edwards and his wife Jane, who saw an opportunity to establish an independent lift company dealing with disabled access. We have since grown and now covers all of the UK, Ireland and Spain.

Our name "Dolphin" derives from our beginnings in sunny Poole in Dorset and we are NOT part of any other company.

Each local branch is self run, with the values of professional service and customer care. Because we are based in the local community we are aware of the needs and aspirations appertaining to it. In this way, we have developed close working relationships with many local authorities and private customers alike.

We have also developed a range of products in the area of 'Access for All' - Stairlifts, both straight and curved, Step Lifts, Platform Lifts, Through Lifts, Porch and Small Passenger Lifts and Ramps.

We are not limited to one manufacturer and are distributors for all makes of access equipment; always trying and testing new products to add to our range.

For the future, Dolphin is expanding worldwide - we will never lose the family run aspect of our business, and will always have someone at the end of the phone, ready to respond to your questions and queries.
