The Straight Stairlift can be installed to either side of the stairs, which ever is more suitable. The rail is fitted to the stair tread and fits from ground floor to top step and is designed to fit as close as possible to the wall.
The angle that the stairlift can travel is between 27 and 52 degrees.
The standard weight limit is 18 stone - 115kgs and the heavy duty option is 25 stone - 160kgs.
The lift has a soft start motor with joystick control which is easly operated - held in the direction of travel - the user has complete control of the stairlift.
At the top step the seat swivels manually or by powered option to 90 degrees, allowing the user to safely step onto the top landing.
There is also the Perch seat option - which allows a user with limited flexibiliy - in either knee of hip to use a stairlit.
A hinged rail is used when a doorway would be obstructed.
The rail will fold when not in use - eliminating any tripping hazard.
All new Straight Stairlifts are battery powered and charged when at rest by mains power. They are all supplied with remote contols, which are situated top and bottom of the stairlift to allow the user to call the lift up or down to them.
Joystick control - for easy of use and seat belt.

They can be fitted internally or externally to the home.
Straight Exterior Stairlift
The straight stairlift has been developed to be installed outside to allow users ease of access into their property.
Fitted as the internal stairlift and fully weatherproof.
They all come with a fully waterproof swivel seat, remote controls and waterproof cover.
